Found a used HF band saw for cheap. Added some parts to it plus 4" (discontinued) re-saw kit from Grizzly, which needed about 4 hours of modifications. I know HF sells a 6" kit but I got the 4" kit from Grizzly for . The band saw can now re-saw 10-1/8". It also has graphite blocks found on ebay for , an aluminum throat plate and longer tensions adjuster...both from Grizzly. The saw is shown cutting 7/8" Hard maple using a Timberwolf Blade (6 TPI) Total cost for used machine plus parts and blade was around 5. Full how to write up available here: www.freeforum101.com
